“Taiwan 25” is our goal to plant twenty-five churches in the city of Kaohsiung. If at all possible, we would help the young men in the ministry have a place of worship that is debt-free. We hope this will encourage them for full-time gospel work. Would you pray about giving?
-John & Alisha Walz, Missionaries in Taiwan
We are praying for Compass Baptist and Second Mile Baptist and their need for a property. Owning property will eliminate the need to rent and better support a full-time Taiwanese pastor and his family. Would you pray?
Q: What is Taiwan 25?
A: “Taiwan 25” is the name of a long-term goal to see 25 church planters raised up in the city of Kaohsiung Taiwan. A major step toward this goal is helping the first church plant grow in their faith and become financially independent. While they save towards purchasing a piece of property, some are willing to give and help them along.
Q: What will be the new church’s responsibility?
A: As we help them to raise funds, they too are being taught to give and be generous. Helping them financially isn’t teaching them to get free hand-outs, but its helping a Taiwanese family that has surrendered to the ministry. We teach the people the principle of tithing and generous giving to support their pastor, ministry, and missions.
You could give and help young Christians of Compass Baptist Church purchase their property. This church is the “mother church” in which young men are being trained for church planting.
